They will explore more about it as the show goes on you have already heard about two Trikru ( Indra, Lincoln and Lexa’s clan) and Ice Nation which you will learn more about. The reason I think some of the characters feel so off is alot of them are dealing with trauma from the mountain and don’t know how to deal with it so they lash out. But this first episode was mostly just to get us up to speed a little bit. In time things will start to come together and make more sense. Buckle up ! This season will do alot of World Building.
