Development Update - 5th of October

Finale Progress

Since last week, the images of another scene have been lit, and we've rendered some more images. We now only have one more scene of still images to light. We made some posing adjustments to it yesterday, so will work on lighting it soon.

Most of this week has been spent working on animations. There will be some variations at the end of High Lathión's main story, and one of the routes will consist of quite a few action animations, which has taken up a lot of our focus this week.

We've also been working on the coding of the final update and bringing together the translations for Steam.

As things stand currently, we still aim to launch the final chapter later this month on Patreon and next month on Steam, with a few side paths added. We will also launch the side paths on Patreon, though, around the same time we do on Steam.

Immersive Recap

This week, Tae also re-posed the Realm 1 images that we'll include in the recap. These still need to be lit and rendered, so the below preview is just a screenshot from Daz 3D, but it's a lot of fun seeing Realm 1 images re-imagined with improvements compared to the original versions!

Other Stuff

Yesterday, we also upgraded a couple of our upcoming Realm 4 character models. We created them when we had very little Daz 3D knowledge, so in the interest of improving their appearances, and also fixing issues with/replacing assets that were no longer working, we made some adjustments that we're super happy with.

We've done this as we want to prepare a short trailer for Realm 4 alongside the Steam release of Realm 3.

Also, on Steam, we've created a "franchise" that will contain everything set within this universe. Currently, that is The Seven Realms and A College of Thirst & Claws.

Overall, things are still moving along. We're so eager to get the final chapter out and are excited for the Steam release next month!
