You play as a young adventurer who grew up in a peaceful little town called Riverfell. You and your childhood friend, Aren, have recently applied to the Knights Guild in the capital - A prestigious group that even accepts novices who have what it takes. Your life changes when you wield the sword your mother left you. Meet loveable characters and beautiful romanceable women as you explore this world that awaits you. Face the darkness that surfaces and uncover the evil plot as your story progresses. Go on optional quests with your comrades where you may have to make decisions that test your morality and add another layer of content for you to enjoy.
The game is very story-driven, and while adult content exists, it's not something that overshadows the story. The Swordbearer updates will be posted as episodes, much like a tv show. Currently, it's on episode 4.
There will be 5 main love interests that will have individual endings for each of them, or you can also go with a harem route if that's your thing. There are also a number of side characters who can also be love interests and come with their own story and personalities.
The game will feature optional side quests in the future. Very much like how you see in RPG games. These mini-quests will not have an impact on your plot but will just allow you to explore the world a little more and give it some more life.
