Ophelia - Behind The Scenes (The Seven Realms)

My plan was for her to look like a deadly sexy MILF. I may still make minor adjustments to her in the future, but we'll wait and see.
As much as I would love to share her backstory, I won't spoil anything so early in the story. Although if it weren't for Jay proofreading this post, I probably would have given something away.
We've established that hybrids are rare, and we learnt during Realm 1 that Ophelia is a witch/vampire. We've also discovered that she's powerful. Not many could have kept Lucius under their spell for 400 years.
During that time, the court only ever viewed her as Lucius' mistress. She was widely disliked, but you would never have guessed that it bothered her. She was talented at hiding away who she truly was. Atlas always had a hard time being around her, as she was a constant reminder about what happened with Lucius and Effie.
She wanted to rule alongside Lucius as the bloodthirsty ruler he once was, but things did not go her way.
Did you have suspicions before the reveal that it had been her pulling the strings? I did lay out a few hints, so I'm sure some people had a theory or two.
Sorry that this is a bit of a shorter post. I may do an expanded one at a later point once we have learnt more about her.
