Mei - Behind The Scenes (The Seven Realms)

Her parents were already ruling over Asia when she was born, over two thousand years ago, meaning that she has been rich and spoilt her entire life. People will rarely say "no" to her, and anybody who does quickly regrets it.
She is an extremely intelligent woman with valuable abilities that are not particularly common for vampires. We will learn a little more about this during Realm 2. That said, she is a little on the crazy side, and the world is her playground.
When I first conceptualised Mei, she was quite a different character. She was still in the same position and would play more or less the same role, but she was much more like Ling Guo. While they have their similarities, their differences will become more apparent the more time we spend with them.
At the end of Realm 1, she came to Italy with her mother and Yuki. In my original plans, she would become a true advisor and friend to Leyala in the court. While the new version is not completely detached from this, it has definitely changed. She will still be helpful, but she may have her own agenda.
