Zyair - Behind The Scenes (The Seven Realms)

As it was important to me for Atlas to have a life before the events of the game besides sleeping around and ruling the realm, he needed to have close friends.

When I created Zyair, I wanted him to be more than the typical black best friend. That's why I made sure that he has a personality and a strong backstory. He's more than just a black guy and you will be able to discover more about him in an optional path, which is planned to start from Realm Three.

Zyair's loyalty to the throne and Atlas is unquestionable. Besides Lucius, he has the best strategic mind in the Realm and that's why he's been assigned as the Commander of the King's Army. He's easygoing with most people and a big gossip, but he's also a big stickler to the rules.

In his optional path, you will be able to explore his friendship with Atlas, but also see why he is the Commander of the army. With his help, you will try to dismantle all the conspiracies in the court and re-establish your authority in the Realm.

Zyair's backstory is really interesting and adds more to his character. I hope after learning more about him later on in the story that you will feel a deeper affinity with him.

He's also the best wingman, without doing anything, it’s his relationship with Tasha that made Leyala consider opening your relationship lol.

It’s funny to know that he and Tasha had a way smaller part in the story until Jay asked me to add more of them in it because he loved them so much. We would have seen far less of them in the story and missed out on various backstories and intrigues.

Character Model:

When I was trying to create Atlas at the start of my journey with DAZ 3D, I must have misclicked or something and all of a sudden my character's skin turned black. Being a newbie, I started panicking because I didn’t know how to change skin colour at the time. Anyway, Jay wasn’t a fan of this Atlas’ model anyway, so I decided to modify some of his features to give him more black features. After some time, Zyair was born! We love him so that error was a blessing in disguise!
