In this new show I'll be reacting exclusively to BRAND NEW K-Pop music videos. Starting July 31st, I'll be posting a new reaction marathon every week here on Patreon. I'll be reacting to every popular K-Pop video released within the last 7 days in each video. That means 4 exclusive videos every month.
At the end of every month I will compile a reaction marathon consisting of the most notable videos released during the month overall, and that will be what premiers on YouTube as an episode of 'My New K-Pop Show'.
The first episode is different in how the videos were selected, but the format will be the same.

I was kinda mad after watching Taeyeon's video. The song is absolutely fire and perfect for the season but the video made the first listen experience weird. It would be bigger with another visual. AND also I really like the dark, silly concept of the mv (minus hair and chopping +blood) because Taeyeon never gave us something like it... and now it's wasted like this.

But my take of the video was more like Taeyeon would rather choose the bear than the man, Heaven was her dancing like there's no worries. Preparing "food" for an idea of a special someone. When he sits down at the end to finally join her, she leaves because heaven is wherever he is not. (might be reading too much into it lol)

2024-07-24 20:08:40 +0000 UTC100% with you on Nayeon - ABCD in which I was really, really loving the song but the switchup was so jarring and threw me right out of the flow every time. IVE's Heya was kinda mid for me and didn't cut my playlist... I agree with Kelsey in that Accendio is much, much, much better. Illit's Magnetic won for me from this selection, although if ABCD had that flow nailed it would have easily jumped ahead of it. Sooo happy to see you back in action!
