The painting Danielle explains in Part 1 is of Cupid and Psyche (god Cupid falls in love with a human woman, Psyche, but can only be with her at night, and she can never see his face). I think Hoyeon is Cupid, which is why everyone around her falls in love. However, she is not allowed to be in love. I think she makes herself mortal (the rain scene). However, that's against the gods, Tony Leung, who then sets the man back on his destined path, and he forgets Hoyeon. NewJeans are her cherubs or angels.
