those are great picks! And hmmm yeah it's a tough question - I've seen people posit that maybe they should do genre categories similar to the Golden Globes and make them genderless, which I think makes sense. It's hard when such different types of films and performances are competing against each other anyways so maybe more rigid on genre and less rigid on gender is the way to go.

Because I think it’s very valid that it isn’t ideal how there currently is no real category in which non binary people fit and also that it is kinda silly to make a difference between male and female performances but I also agree that I could very well lead to way less women winning due to the better written characters often being male as most writers and directors are still men
