Shining Song Starnova: Idol Empire Beta 28-1

New
Beta Users
- Two new story stages.
- Security [Room] - To unlock this room you need to select 'research tier II facilities' in the 'build room' menu at a cost of 7,000 KN (the new reduced cost for level II from beta 26).
- New misc furniture options: Shelf of Boxes, Yoga Mats, Yoga Balls, Closet and Wooden Crate.
- New sofa furniture option: Red Sofa.
- New electronic furniture options: Small Speaker, Shredder, Single Speaker and Big Speaker.
- The pause button found when clicking on an idol has been replaced with an option to loop the current queued action.
- Song that are still in the process of being recorded at the point the player is prompted with the set list for a live are now indicated with their own formatting to make it clear they can't be performed.
- You can now add actions to the front of a girl's queue by holding shift when right clicking.
Alpha and Beta Users
- Stage seven is now available.
- (FX) Research Lab [Room] - To unlock this room you need to select 'research tier II facilities' in the 'build room' menu at a cost of 7,000.
- Fanquakes have now been added. Your idols will be thrown into a panic as well as causing damage to your office in the form of destroying furniture.
- 16 new random events have been added.
- Adjustments to the game's base UI and the introduction of a saturation percentage indicator for salesman.
- The images for live locations are now updated (with the exception of Oniisan Stadium).
- New idol options are available (although they will be locked for now on the hire screen as there are still functionality issues to resolve before they can be properly introduced. You can however now use Mariko as of this build but only in the stage seven scenario once unlocked).
Balances
Beta Users
- The trigger rate for scandals has been reduced.
Alpha Users
- The chance of triggering a stalker event has been increased.
- The chance of an idol developing a gambling addiction has been increased.
- The rate of HP decay in lives has been increased.
- Being in NOVA will no longer grant max HP during a live.
- The rate of fame decay has been increased in the mid and late game.
- The rate of return on the sales department for KN has been decreased in the mid and late game.
- MOAB and Heal Canisters costs have been increased.
Fixes
Beta Users
- Fixed an FPS optimisation causing the objective check to not trigger correctly.
- The correct version is now displayed on the main menu.
- Sickbay recovery will no longer return decimal numbers for time remaining.
- Optimised the auto save system to prevent a crash that could occur when loading these saves, this also fixed another issues where the auto save process would fail causing the game to crash.
- The exit door for the office will now layer properly with the office building walls.
- The UI windows for the sales department will now layer properly with the room's walls/door.
- Merchandise sales will now properly occur (at a reduced rate) even at 0 popularity.
- Fixed a behaviour that would cause business men to get stuck trying to leave the office until the game reloads a save.
- Merchandise will no longer sell for decimal numbered figures.
- Fixed a crash that could occur when cancelling other actions in an idols queue while they are out on a job.
- During the stage four objective the manufacturing costs of other merchandise will no longer affect the counter.
- The fame bonus for lives will no longer return decimal value results.
- Fixed a crash that would occur when an idol is unable to perform a song at a live due to being in the sickbay.
- The progress bar for queued actions in the cafeteria will now correctly show.
- Fixed a behaviour where the financial info of the sales department displays incorrect results as a result of merchandise overselling.
- Fixed a bug that meant when saving while Mariya's secret technique is active caused the stats to become permanent.
- Fixed a behaviour where the game would stop auto saving when the frequency value in the settings was changed from 'every five minutes'.
Alpha Users
- Fixed using the DEL keyboard key causing a crash when used to remove furniture.
- When triggering a bad end choosing to load save will no longer cause the bad end prompt/sound to trigger again.
- The stage six scenario bad end associated with Mika dropping into a neutral mood or below has had the frequency of the mood checks increased to prevent it having a delayed trigger.
- Fixed a crash that would occur from the game auto saving on stage 6 during the initial VN style text section.
- Speaker furniture for the dance studio will no longer cause progression values to output to decimal values.
- Using Julie's ultimate technique in stage six will no longer cause Mika's fame to output in decimal values.
- Fixed interactions that would allow an idol to increase the value of their pure stat over 100.
- Using relocate on the door of a security room that is complete and optional will no longer cause the game to crash.
- The whiteboard will no longer have the text label of being an electric guitar.
- An auto save triggering will no longer cause the game to resume if prior to this it was set to pause.
- If an idol is a no show for a live and is due to perform then the game will no longer crash when attempting to run the mini game.
- Fixed a crash where the game would crash when deleting rooms in custom mode using the DEL keyboard key.
- Fixed an instance where Nemu would vanish if yandere mode triggers while she is out of the office.
- Fixed an occurrence that would cause the name text on a save to become gibberish / no longer accurate.
- Added preventive measures so that the game won't keep trying to re-position the game window each time a level is loaded.
- Fixed an occurrence where salesmen would lose their orders when a game save that features them is loaded.
- A number of fixes have been made against the message box in VN style text sections to prevent a number of visual issues that had started happening.
- Fixed an input delay that was happening for parts of the salesman UI.
- Fixed a text overflow that was happening on the progress bar of the salesman UI.
- Fixed the hire idol window having its functionality broken by pauses, objective prompts and random events.
- When the scheduler is set to override looped actions it will now move put that action to the end of the queue rather than deleting it.
