Reacting to Sunmi (uncut and late af)

grab a whole ass meal for this one folks! i'm so so sorry for the delay getting this one up for you all. a lot of change happened with my full time job and a lot more time was required from me to focus on those changes than i had anticipated. but, luckily that's all been sorted out and consistency is my middle name once again! i do hope you enjoy~
Heroine came out at just the right time in my opinion. It came out exactly a month after Jonghyun’s death, so the “You must go on” at the end kind of hits a bit. I think that’s why it seems a bit sad compared to the others (though that part could be a stretch)

Ahahaha your reaction to WWD was hilarious. I knew you wouldn't like it, but you have to admit it's catchy haha

FOURTY FIVE MINUTES?! OOH this IS gonna be good :3
I was surprised at first when you didn't seem to be familiar with 24hrs. Like did you NOT watch the iconic Sooyoung cover? But then you recognised it and everything was alright again :D
Have you ever reacted to Hyolyn's solo music because I can't see one but if not, maybe that might be one to add to the list?
The guy in the 'Full Moon' mv is a JYP actor named Yoon Bak https://pbs.twimg.com/media/C5ZD3lkUoAAo9Zg.jpg
The other girl is Lena. She was in the lineup for 6Mix along with Jeongyeon, Nayeon, Jihyo, Minyoung and Cecilia. When Cecilia left, she was replaced by Sana and when Lena left, 6Mix was scrapped and JYP launched Sixteen which created Twice. There are rumors that she might've been forced out of the company for unknown reasons.
Gashina is iconic, known by many as 'Gayshina'. Do yourself a favour and look up the 'Choreography Part Change Up Ver.' Just whew! It was suggested by Yuri, the dancer with the long black hair and pants. Also after releasing this song, she went on a world tour where she called herself an 'LGBT queen' ("I have many different sides of me like dorky and LGBT… LGBT queen…") and fans thought that was her way of coming out :D https://pm1.narvii.com/7214/a7535079b88bf84413e96c18617ee382281ab069r1-1024-1016v2_uhq.jpg
Guy in the Heroine mv is Cha Hyunseung. He also performed at her at the Waterbomb festival https://www.asianjunkie.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/SunmiWaterbombFestival4.jpg

Sunmi is one of the idols that is definitely not an actor, not even an idol-actor. She's been on 3 different tv shows, 2 of which were just cameos as herself and another cameo appearance on tv this year.
Give yourself more credit Dylan, you're right about the definition of noir 'a genre of crime film or fiction characterized by cynicism, fatalism, and moral ambiguity.'
I still don't understand Lalalay but apparently it's about a cult? That worships Sunmi and moths. Idk.
'are we being separated because the age difference is too drastic? And it's against the law?' lol no kidding. Sunmi's 28 so 10 years ago, she was barely a legal adult (and JYP would've been nearly 40). So I think the background behind this is sweet. So Sunmi obviously got her start with JYP in Wonder Girls but she's with a different label now. So Sunmi heard a song they used to listen to a lot when Wondering girls were -exiled- touring the states to reminisce. And JYP messaged her back saying that he missed working with her and asking if she wanted to collab; 'I said I’d work with him, thinking that I’d just be featuring in the song, but when I saw the lyrics, I had a whole verse. When I asked if it was a duet, he texted me saying yes with a smiley face. I asked him if he was thinking of anyone else for the song, and he responded, "No, there’s no one else but you."
As I said, I just found it was sweet. I'm surprised you didn't like that one at all, I found it pretty fun :)
