I hope everyone who celebrates is having a lovely Thanksgiving today, even if we cannot all be with our loved ones as we'd like. I am grateful for so much in my life, and though there are hardships, I am truly blessed. I am grateful for the health that I have, and for Sandra's continued health throughout her chemotherapy. I am grateful for the home we have lived in for a decade now, which we will have to say goodbye to come the spring. I am thankful that we have gotten through the year of no shows and have somehow been more blessed with income. I am grateful for my friends and family, none of which who have succumbed to this horrible virus so far. I am thankful for our furkids who have helped us to remember to laugh through all of this. I am thankful that here in the US the people have spoken, and voted in the favor of love, decency, and compassion. Maybe we can start loving one another and our country again.
There is so much to be grateful for. And that very much includes you, my patrons.
Without you, this year could have been far worse. As I said, even though all of our shows since February had been cancelled, we still managed to hang in there, and even thrive a bit. That is in no small part thanks to you guys. Your support has helped us through this crazy, horrible, weird-as-hell year, and helped to keep us on our feet. All of my massive, sincere gratitude to everyone who has been a patron this year. You guys are my heroes <3 I cannot thank you enough for your financial and mental/emotional support during this time.
I hope the rest of this year can be a peaceful one, and that we will start to see some end in sight to this Covid nightmare. I hope you all find ways to thrive, and hold on to your hope, sanity, and your hearts. There are brighter days ahead, I just know it. Keep the faith, and I will keep mine.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
