In Celebration of 500k views for Lordan's Layout...
Added 2021-08-29 21:39:23 +0000 UTCLodran's Layout surpassed 500k views, a really cool milestone that I'm very excited about. I recently added captions in English, but this was also prep-work to set up something I wanted to do at this stage: Add Spanish subtitles!
It's not completed just yet, but I have someone helping me and I'll let you know as soon as it's finished. I like the idea of being able to potentially engage with a wider audience, and adding more languages to my most-popular videos is something I'll be thinking about more in the future.
But what about actual new stuff??
Well, with the intention of making a LOT more content this coming fall, I've also made another ~7 minute video about Dark Souls 1! This one is going to be outside the Dark Souls Dissected Series. Call it bonus or tangential content, I suppose. It's something I've already talked about before, but rather than being a sub-section from a much longer video, I figured it's something that deserves its own video, since I think it'll make for a pretty good resource. Plus, I can do a more-thorough demonstration this time.
It's almost ready to go, I already have a near-final draft rendered but I'm waiting to see if I can get permission to use someone's music in it. I really really like the music I found so I'm content waiting to hear back instead of rushing the video out. In the meantime, I'm going to upload a preview video tomorrow for backers at the Evil Vagrant tier.
And with all that being said, I'm finally, fully invested again in the Demon's Souls Compare-through. Part 2 is my next main video. For real, this time.
