Miracle Resonance Episode Progress Update (and a video clip!)
Added 2020-09-11 00:05:19 +0000 UTCSo I've completely scripted and recorded the audio for the upcoming Miracle Resonance episode, but haven't begun recording footage and editing just yet. One of the central topics of the video is the question of why it doesn't work correctly in Dark Souls Remastered (spoiler alert-- no one actually knows, but I still have stuff to say about that). I've played DSR a decent amount on PS4 and a little bit on PC, and one thing I wanted to do before rushing the video was to sit down and play again and see how long it takes to actually find a miracle resonance sign again in DSR -- if I can make it happen at all.
In the script I mention how they're not supposed to be rare at all; Unlike Vagrants we should expect to find them frequently if the mechanic was working correctly. And so I've been doing a semi-casual playthrough, working my way through to collect Wrath of the Gods for some testing while doing random online stuff along the way. In the process of doing so, I managed to run into a Vagrant! This really helps prove the point of just how wrong things are. Seeing a Vagrant before seeing a single resonance sign isn't how things should be.
