A Little Disappointed...

Hello, all of my good friends and loyal Patrons!  I have decided not to post a video this month in lieu of advice that usually makes people drool at the mouth. Month after month, I continue to get a request for a mock oral video. I'll admit, that when I get these messages, I have a tendency to just either delete or ignore them. Why? Well mainly because my examining process is my own examining process, there is a good chance that your examiner may have a totally different process of determining if you meet standards on your checkride (practical exam).

One of the other reasons that I am not posting another video this month is due to a remark that was left when a Patreon canceled their subscription with me recently. Here is what they said, "The content was not worth the $20 per month. Thanks for the time though". I was truly taken away by this.  I would love to have a conversation with that Patron and ask them where I fell short of their desires and wants in a CFI prep product. Knowing that the average CFI in the US charges around $30-40 per hour for ground, this is directly telling me that I am not worth $20 for over 50 hours of content in how to be successful as a flight instructor.

Now, with that being said, I would NOT leave you without something to assist you in moving forward with your training, so I have decided to share with you my DPE plan of action for an initial CFI checkride. This is one that I do not use any longer, as I change them about once every 6 months or so to help me not be so predictable in the exam and to assist me in not asking the same questions year after year.  I am hoping that you will be able to read this over and understand better how the mindset of the examiner works. This POA covers each task in the CFI PTS.  I will post another one soon that outlines the new ACS that comes out in June of this year.
