The Colony

A/N: This is a little bit different than my usual stories but I hope you like it. ^^

When Kori woke up, she didn't know where she was. After thinking about it some more, Kori realized that she didn't know a lot of things. She knew her name, and that was about it. It was as if she had just popped into existence, and there was nothing before that.

Her body felt strange, but she couldn't figure out what it was. She wasn't hurting, which was good, but that was about it. She was lying on her stomach on a soft mat and wearing an overall almost the same color as her skin. It fit her perfectly like it had been custom made and felt comfortable, like a second skin. Kori took inventory of her body and wriggled her shoulders, feeling the suit's fabric glide over the roundness of her shoulders with the movement. Then she tried rotating her hips, and when she did that, Kori felt something inside her holes. Her pussy and butthole had something inside them, but it didn't feel uncomfortable. When she clenched down on them, she realized they were soft and conformed to her movement. Kori was confident that everything was in order with her body.

Kori stretched and felt a series of satisfying pops run through her spine. Despite not knowing where she was, Kori felt at ease and comfortable. She looked around and took in her surroundings. The small room she was in was painted a light orange, and the soft light shone through a window. Kori noticed she wasn't lying on the floor but on a low futon that was only an inch off the floor. She could see nothing else except the door next to the window. Kori decided she needed to explore her new surroundings. She didn't even know if she was new to this place or just couldn't remember it.

She drew a blank on everything that involved moving for a moment, but then she shook her head and spurred her body into action. She wriggled around, pushing one shoulder forward at a time and slowly inching her body towards the door. She was glad her bed was so close to the floor.

When she had wormed her way over to the door, Kori took a deep breath and steeled herself for what could lie outside her small room. She wasn't sure why she was so nervous. For all she knew, this was where she was supposed to be. She had never known anything else after all. Kori wriggled through the door and squinted at the bright light that assaulted her eyes. Once her eyes had adjusted to the brightness, she could look around. Outside, she found a small street lined with many doors just like the one she had just come through.

At first, she thought she was alone, but two women were waiting just outside the door. They hurried closer when Kori came out of her room.

"Hey, Kori," one greeted and incredibly close - within a couple of inches of Kori's face - and she thrust her head forward and closed her eyes. Kori drew back, putting as much distance between their faces as possible without actually moving backward.

"Nose kiss," the other woman whispered after an awkward moment, and the penny dropped. Kori mimicked the woman's movements and touched her nose to hers, the woman wriggled her nose, and Kori reciprocated. It felt nice, and Kori felt immediately welcome. Knowing what to do, she greeted the other woman the same way.

"I'm Prue, and this is Jenelle," the first woman introduced themselves.

"I'm Kori," Kori said, then realized the pair already knew that. "How did you know my name?"

"Oh, our names are above the doors to our rooms," Prue said, matter-of-factly. Kori looked around and saw what she meant. Above each door, there was a name engraved into the tan stone.

"We're here to show you around," Jenelle said. "It's always very confusing for new arrivals, so we'll answer all your questions on the way to the Square."

The two women crawled down the road with Kori, worming after them.

"Where are we exactly?" Kori asked in between huffs as she struggled to keep up with them. For some reason, she wasn't as fast as them, and her whole body, from hips to shoulders, started to ache after a while.

"We don't have an official name, but we call it the Colony, and we've been here for almost seven cycles," Jenelle explained.

"A cycle is 100 days," Prue added. "We have a large display that keeps track of everything around the Colony. We call that the Board, and we live our lives around it. It shows us how much we have to work for the day and what other tasks need to be done. You'll see. It's great."

After an excruciating long crawl towards the end of the street, which was probably only a couple hundred feet from her room, the street opened up into a wide space that was buzzing with other women. It wasn't hard to see why it was called the Square as it was roughly as wide as it was long, and Kori immediately saw the Board Prue had been talking about.

The Square was surrounded by other buildings much bigger than the small rooms. Women were crawling in and out of buildings, and some pulled small carts behind them as they wriggled across the Square. The Board was hung high on the side of the largest buildings. It was at least six feet high, about 10 feet wide, and the beforementioned day count was prominently displayed at the top. It was currently displaying '679', and underneath were all kinds of numbers and indicators, along with a happy smiley face that was very prominently displayed at the bottom.

"It's a little overwhelming at first, but it's all very simple. It just tells us what tasks we still have to complete for the day, and the face shows us if we did a good job," Prue explained when she saw Kori stare at the Board.

"What kind of tasks do you have to do?" Kori asked. "And who is telling you to do them?"

"Oh, the tasks are simple. Over here, we have to transport packages across the Square." She jerked her head in the direction of the women with the carts. "And over here," she turned around and nodded towards the other side," we have to sort objects." Where Prue was pointing, Kori could see about ten women lined up in front of a building. To one side, there was a clear container with colorful blocks of all colors and sizes. Kori was immediately reminded of a baby's toy, though she couldn't remember ever seeing a toy like that.

"We also have to take care of the buttons that are all over the Square. When one pops up, someone has to go to it and press it back down. Look, there's one right here!" Prue shuffled around to point out a cylindrical shape sticking out of the ground. It was about a foot wide and maybe two inches high.

"Coming through!" Someone suddenly yelled, and Kori spun her head around to see another woman barreling towards them at an incredible speed. Kori had just enough time to get out of the way before the woman ran her over. She practically leaped onto the button and pressed it back into the ground. As fast as she had arrived, the woman hurried away again.

"The button girls are a little eager sometimes," Prue chuckled when Kori recovered from the shock.

"Here in the middle is our water fountain," Prue continued and headed towards the middle of the Square where a large decorative water spring was located. Kori noticed the edge was lined with many nozzles about head height.

"You just have to suck on one of these, and water comes out." Prue demonstrated how it was done, and Kori immediately tried it since she hadn't realized how thirsty she was. She only had to gently suck on the nozzle, and cool liquid flooded her mouth, rehydrating her dry throat. As she gulped it down, she wondered if this was the first time she had tasted water because it tasted and felt so familiar, but she had no memories from before she woke up today. The familiar feeling confused her, but Kori figured this was just how it was meant to be.

After she had drunk a frankly huge amount of water, her thirst was finally sated, and she shuffled backward.

"You can come here and drink whenever you want," Jenelle laughed after Kori was finally finished drinking.

"There are a few more things around here that we haven't shown you yet, but I think it's time you get your first task, and we will show you the rest some other time," Prue said. "Newcomers always start at the sorting station."

The sorting station was next to the big clear container full of colorful blocks. There was a small conveyer belt in front of the women, and they were sorting one version of the blocks by picking them up with their mouths and dropping them in a hole right in front of them. At the end of the conveyer belt, there were still a few holes that were not being sorted by someone, and the rest of the blocks dropped off into a bigger hole.

Kori had no idea what the point was of sorting the blocks, and she said as much to Prue.

"We have to sort a certain amount of blocks by the end of the day, so we get a reward in the evening. It's what we do."

"What kind of reward?"

"Well, you'll see later today, and it's going to be worth it, I promise." With that, Prue crawled away and left Kori with the other women. She hesitantly shuffled forward until she was just beside the last one in the row. The closest to her greeted her and introduced themselves between sorting blocks.

"You have to pick the yellow ones out," the one right next to her, Toni, told her before going back to pick out the pink blocks. Kori was baffled by how they were so eagerly doing this utterly dull task. Nevertheless, Kori started picking out the yellow blocks that came past her.

At first, she had a hard time picking them up. She had to stretch her neck to even reach them and then wrap her lips around it while it moved past her. The first few times, she failed miserably as she didn't want to touch the blocks with her teeth. For some reason, she was also wriggling her shoulders constantly, trying to reach the conveyer belt with them, even though there was no point in trying. Her shoulders had very little reach, and she didn't know why she subconsciously thought she would be able to pick up blocks by moving them.

Kori shuffled a little closer until she was almost on top of the hole, and her breasts covered half of it. She also hadn't realized how sore her neck was from keeping her head up all the time. The other women didn't seem to have that problem, but Kori was struggling. From the time she woke up to now, she hadn't put her head down once, and her muscles were aching.

"The first day is hard," Toni suddenly said. "We were all sore after waking up, but your body will quickly adjust."

Adjust to what Kori was wondering but didn't say, but the question kept nagging her. Shouldn't their bodies be able to do this?

Kori did her best with the blocks, but it was mind-numbingly boring, and soon her neck was starting to hurt.

"You can take a break," Toni said when she noticed her slowing down. Kori nodded gratefully and left the conveyer belt. She shuffled over to the fountain to get a drink, then looked around for a place where she could rest her head for a moment. There were a lot of doors in the surrounding buildings, and she could also see ramps that led to the upper floors. Kori had the urge to explore where they led and see what this place had to offer. But her neck was hurting, and so she wormed over to a little alcove that was even smaller than her room. She had to avoid some of the other women who were crisscrossing across the Square and tried not to get in their way. Kori dodged another button girl who didn't seem to see her before she finally reached her goal.

It was quite a tight squeeze to get into the alcove. Kori crawled through the opening as far as she could but realized she needed her back end to go sideways. She didn't know how to get her butt to move in such a manner, so she tried to wriggle her hips from side to side, and that seemed to do the trick. She wondered who made this place if the people living here couldn't even access everything without going through so much effort.

Kori rested her head on the floor and closed her eyes, ignoring the people working outside shuffling around, dragging carts or talking.

When she had woken up earlier, she had felt content, even though she had no idea where she was. Now that she had been shown around and had learned more about her situation, she couldn't help but feel that something was off, and she wondered if the others felt it as well or if she was the only one with that problem. Maybe it was normal after waking up. Kori had come into this world as a blank slate. Maybe she just needed more knowledge to make sense of the world around her.

After a short rest, Kori started to feel bad for not helping the others work. From her alcove, she could see the Board showing that several hundred blocks needed to be sorted today to reach the goal. Although she would have preferred to stay where she was and just watch the others buzzing around the Square, the guilt of letting her coworkers down made Kori hurry back to her workstation. She just hoped the reward was worth doing such a pointless task.

Kori didn't know how long she had been at it, but eventually, a loud chime rang through the Square, and the other women instantly cheered. Everyone hurried to the middle of the Square to look at the Board. All the numbers had dropped to zero, and the smiley in the corner was laughing.

"We did it!" Everyone cheered and congratulated each other by rubbing their noses together. Kori couldn't help but be infected with the positive energy that radiated from them. She congratulated others, introduced herself to those who asked, and learned a few more names. It all lasted a few minutes before a sudden change in the mood happened, and the women started to head towards the side streets that led to their rooms. Kori needed a moment to figure out which direction her room had been in and was the last one to crawl out of the Square. The other women were faster than her, and she couldn't keep up with them. Nobody had said anything about why they were all of a sudden hurrying away. Kori had hoped she could talk to Prue and Jenelle since she had so many questions. She spotted Prue at the edge of the group, but she was too slow to reach her.

Kori's body was already aching from head to butt, and maybe resting in her room was a good idea. She slowed down and went at her own speed. She was getting better at moving around. She mainly used a motion like a caterpillar to get around, curving her spine to drag her hips forward while pressing her upper body to the ground and doing the same with her hips to push her chest forward. Some of the other women used different techniques that she wanted to test out at some point to see if that worked out better because right now, she felt like she was face planting every cycle with her face getting very close to the ground.

Unsurprisingly she was the last one to reach her room. No sooner had she entered when the street suddenly went dark. Her room was lightly illuminated with a soft light that seemed to come from the walls. Kori was relieved. She didn't like to sleep in total darkness though Kori doubted she would have trouble falling asleep, exhausted as she was.

Kori wriggled onto the mat and got comfortable. Her first day in her life had been an exhausting one despite not doing all that much except moving around. She had almost fallen asleep when she suddenly was wide awake again when she felt something move in her vagina. Kori had completely forgotten about the squishy inserts in her holes as they hadn't bothered her the entire day.

Now the one in her pussy was pulsing, making her aware of how deep it reached, and it scared Kori. Her first instinct was to hurry back outside and find someone to help her. She was about to do that when she heard something coming from the rooms next to hers.

Moaning. People were moaning in the other rooms, which confused Kori even more. The thing in her vagina suddenly went crazy. It started to vibrate and inflate rhythmically, and now Kori knew why the others were moaning. The thing butted up against a very sensitive spot, and warmth spread through her whole body. Kori calmed down considerably, and she felt the urge to tense her muscles in time to the rhythmic inflations. It felt nice. More than nice even, pleasurable and Kori felt her body react before she could actively do anything about it. Electric pulses shot through her whole body, radiating from her pussy, and she bit her lip to keep from moaning. It felt incredible, and she wanted it to never stop. All the exhaustion from the day faded away. This sensation was all that mattered. Was this the reward the others were talking about? If yes, Kori understood why they were eager to work even the most pointless jobs. Kori felt like her thoughts slowed down to a crawl, nothing else mattered but maximizing this pleasurable feeling coursing through her body, and she felt it was all building up to a crescendo that she couldn't wait to experience.

Then it happened. Kori had expected it, but at the same time, she was wholly unprepared for it. It felt like she had exploded, and her mind had left her body like she had reached a whole new level of existence, and her body fell into a deep relaxation when the feeling slowly faded. Kori didn't want to move another muscle, she felt like she couldn't move even if she wanted to, and it felt incredible.

As Kori fell into a deep sleep, she looked forward to tomorrow.
