A Classic, Revisited!

This week I'm going to be revisiting an old favourite of mine from 6 years ago, the Chronotyryn.
This monster was one of the first videos I ever uploaded on the channel, and much like the Kythons, never had a stat block conversion done by me.
As we all know my videos have also changed a lot since then so I'll be giving the creature a brand new Monster of the Week video!
The video should be up in the next couple days, but for now you can find the full stat block attached below complete with new stats, a new magic item, and new artwork!

Hell yeah, welcome! Also adding a bunch of chrono spells from the CR setting book is a great idea. I think that'll really bring this creature to life as an NPC!

2023-07-25 02:50:09 +0000 UTCThe monster that finally made me a Patron. Like I said in the YT comments I love this thing to pieces. A little changing of the alignment (or not if you have an evil party/just love to drink up the drama with a bendy straw) and you have the makings of a prime quest-giver. And since I'm primarily focused on Exandria right now, Wildemount's "Chronourgy" seems like a fantastic school to draw spells from to mix things up.

2023-07-12 01:27:56 +0000 UTCThese guys are awesome! I think I would replace some of their more generic Wizard spells with some of the Chronurgy spells from Explorers guide to Wildemount to make them feel more time magic focused since those spells are just so flavorful for a spellcaster like this
