What Is Going On At Walgreens?

1:55 I met my SO in a carpool to The Real Witches Ball in Columbus, in 1996. We were ordained as Wiccan ministers later that same year. We're retired now, working on a webstore selling pagan paraphernalia. I like the term "pagan", but the SO refers to himself as a witch. We're not really that weird, aside from the house smelling like frankincense and sandalwood. And we're becoming less niche all the time. For that magazine to exist, it must have a target audience. Give witches a chance. 😊

The Walgreens by me is usually pretty busy but I'm in a denser part of the city. However, there was an oversaturation of drugstores in my neighborhood - the CVS up the block closed years ago and the Rite Aid one block further closed during the pandemic. The "high concept" Walgreens a mile or so away - with a juice bar and "fresh" sushi - closed during the pandemic after struggling for years. The expansion of multiple Targets within 3-5 miles of each other in my part of town probably won't help the drugstores recover
