Overall reception of the Warrior changes in v3.1 have been somewhat muted, which I expected as many people wanted a straight buff and not a mechanical adjustment. Still, it is my hope that opinions on the Warrior will improve over time as people get used to the new shield, which is hopefully much more visible now. It’s been a couple months, so as a part of that I thought I’d ask you guys how the Warrior is feeling to you.
Importantly this is a poll about how the Warrior feels to play, not about whether he is directly stronger or weaker. I have balance data on that and he’s about the same as he used to be.
The result of this poll will help me determine how successful v3.1 was at improving people’s perception of the Warrior.

I agree that damage mitigation will never be as exciting as dealing damage, although I do still hope that making the power more visible would have an impact.

2025-07-17 14:13:59 +0000 UTCIn my mostly inaccurate opinion, part of the issue with the warrior is his shtick is damage-mitigation. As strong as it may be, it's just not a exciting as all the other class shticks.
