Demon Halls Music | Patreon Weekly #122

Hey Patrons!

A brief weekly this week, I’m in the middle of actually moving house right now (you may remember I’ve mentioned the lead-up to this in a couple of weeklies) and so time is a bit limited. There is some news to share though!

Firstly, October’s Patreon poll will be next week, as I haven’t had time to write it out yet.

In more exciting news, we’ve hit the $650/mo milestone and then some! Read on for some info about new music, and the first Patreon-exclusive game build that I’m planning to share.

New Music!

If you haven’t already, give the audio attached to this weekly a listen, it’s a mostly final draft of music for the demon halls!

With this, we now have music for each area of the game, and so it’s very likely that v1.1.0 will feature the game’s first entirely new music tracks! This is what v1.0.0 was laying the groundwork for with the remasters of existing tracks, and I’m very exited to start adding entirely new audio.

Early-Access Patron Builds!

Given that we’ve just hit $650/mo, and that music does not directly affect gameplay, I thought this was a great opportunity to start out the Patreon-exclusive game builds!

Later this week, when I have a little time, I’m going to compile a version of that game that is identical to v1.0.3, but with the current draft of each region’s music added to each stage! This version will be unrestricted and fully compatible with regular game saves. In the future Patreon builds will likely be more limited, once I start showing off things that affect gameplay.

Golden+ Patreons should get a notification when that post goes live later this week.
