Ability Polish | Patreon Weekly #102

Hey Patrons!

I’ve got a slightly short weekly for you this week, as I’m pushing to get v0.9.3 ready for beta.

Firstly though, Patreon Poll #17has just concluded! Here are the results:
Runestones:       72%
Exotic Potions:  31%
Exotic Scrolls:    38%
Tipped Darts:     24%
Runestones got commanding support, so I’ll be putting most of my focus there for alchemy changes in v0.9.4, though I’ll see about making a few specific tweaks to the other categories too.

v0.9.3 Progress

I spent time this week on a variety of things for v0.9.3, including polishing up all the spots that needed it for the beta. Most notably I decided to overhaul the subclass selection window, and the hero info window (again!). The player now has a lot more information when making key decisions throughout the game, here’s a gif of that new subclass select in action:

Right now I’m mainly got some ability implementations to finalize, here’s a full list of what’s left before getting v0.9.3 to beta:

I’m going to try to get these done and get v0.9.3 to beta around the middle of this week, Wednesday or Thursday.

The IOS code is a separate development branch of Shattered at the moment. I intend to port v0.9.3 to it once v0.9.3 is ready for full release.

Sorry if you already mentioned this elsewhere, but will v0.9.3 be available for download on IOS? Or is that in a future update?

I was originally planning to but decided to scrap the idea. The 6-chal badge is already really hard, and I worried having one for 9 pushes well into "so hard it's unfun"
