[DevLog] // PSD3 - What Could've Been

Hello friendos!

So real talk, I have a tendency to disappear. Between Pico Sim Date 2 (2007) and the release of the Pico Sim Date <3 BETA (2015), there was a chunk of 8 years missing in between. A good portion of that was definitely life; I had graduated high school and made the transition to post-secondary and moving to a new city by myself. It was also the time I had started my career and I could finally consider myself "an adult".

Those were times I'm sure most of you have gone through too. But it wasn't all just real life stuff. I was actually still doing my best to make new games. And here's a collection of those games that I've never shown anyone before:

Having been known for making Dating Sims based of Pico Day, I felt obligated to continue it. Don't get me wrong, I love making every single one, but there are so many different sorts of games and ideas that I would love to explore.

I felt like I was in a bit of a rut continuing Pico Sim Date 2, so these games were almost like a compromise: both Pico-related but an exploration of something new.

As much as I love working on this project, I do still feel the itch to try new things. But that gives me even more motivation to finish. And hopefully, one day, I'll be able to share more with you :)
