I'm just relistening to recent pods since I usually listen at work & I wanna make sure I didn't miss anything lol I hate to be that person but here in Chicago, everyone is very fond of pickleback chasers 😅 as a bartender, though, I gotta say that our pet-peeve is someone just coming in & asking for a pickleback bc technically that means just a shot of pickle juice. I've also had people ask for "6 picklebacks" & said "do you mean 6 shots of Jamo with 6 pickleback chasers?" & they replied "huh? a pickleback is jack daniels with a pickle juice chaser. what are you talking about" btw I've worked in several bars in the heart of downtown Chicago as well as West Loop, North side & South side & this is a consistent trend so I just wanted to put it out there please don't shoot the messenger 😂 ily either way lol
