Have you ever had sleep paralysis or had lucid dream before? I'm reading a book on sleep paralysis and it talks about hypnagogic hallucinations. One time when I slept in the guest room at my grandma's house I shut the light off, layed down and not even a minute went by - like I didn't even notice if I fell asleep or not - and the door opens. A guy with a trench coat and fedora hat walks in, I'm startled by his presence and how real he looks. He sits down beside me on the bed and I feel him brush against me so I ask are you really here? And he says yes. I instantly wake up and I freak the fuck out. I call my parents house who live down the street and tell them I need to go to their house to sleep. At the time I thought omg what if it was a ghost. I don't even believe in ghosts. The next day I realized it was just a hallucination or an intense lucid dream.
