I will say, it's always nice to see dinosaurs on screen π€©
Though this is a great example of sometimes franchises should stop instead of more movies being made. I much prefer movies with a decent story, unless it's overly ridiculous, then it's fine.
While I do think the movie was ok, I have less than 0 hope of the next two being somewhat decent π
I think it's always a good thing to recognize when it's a good time to stop a franchise, and this is it for me.
The dinosaur fights were great though, I just like seeing dinosaurs π

It's weird how watching something a second time can be very different since, like you said, the stupid plot points aren't as bad π€£

For some reason I missed a bunch of reactions so this came as a nice surprise scrolling through. From what I remember this found the spot of being good enough to be enjoyable, and for me, rewatches donβt have the same irritation levels regarding stupid plot points, so this should be fun.

Movies so bad they come full circle to being awesome! So take it with a grain of salt. Negative reactions are fine. We love and we hate. We are kind and cruel. We are at times happy and sad. Also, while Iβm not expecting the next one to be a good movie, I am at least expecting it to be more interesting, based on some of the things Iβve heard about it and some short clips Iβve seen. Dominion however will probably just be so bad itβs fun to laugh at, but Iβm down for that too.

(Though obviously, it didn't match up to the cinematic grandeur of the original J.P.) In fact, it got me actually looking forward to the next one. However, I thought "Fallen Kingdom" was straight up bad, to the point where I never even bothered to watch "Dominion."

Just add a few call backs, but nothing new. The Original JP will be remembered 50 years from now. This train wreck? Who watches it again ever? I just did it get Vero's take. She is nicer than me about it, but that is given between me and most people.

Yes, a franchise should stop, this one as one example. The late SW movies because no overall plot. Matrix 4. Star Trek Discovery. It is not that anything is "bad". Just stop putting labels on things in the hope of making more money. That is all they are doing. Look at Ghostbusters....lighting in a bottle....sequel meh.......but video games etc for decades. Let's remake it! Try to catch that lighting again.....huge flop. Okay then, just a fan service movie. Nothing more, nothing less. Sorry for the Rant Vero.
