Clone Wars Episode 613 (122) *FULL LENGTH REACTION

Victory... not in the Clone wars but for all time.

Now that is very interesting.

I loved seeing Yoda learn something!  And Palpatine and Dooku conjuring up some dark magic basically.  Pretty foolish of them to try to tempt Yoda.  Pfft... amateurs.

For this style of reaction, you need your own copy to watch the episode.  Also know there is an extension that allows you to do Picture-in-Picture in case you are interested: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/picture-in-picture-extens/hkgfoiooedgoejojocmhlaklaeopbecg?hl=en

Season 7 starts next week!! OOOOOooooooh the excitement is unreal!!!

Clone Wars Episode 613 (122) *FULL LENGTH REACTION

Comments

No thank you. And not knowing if there even will be another season 😨

Verowak

Now imagine having to wait 7 more years to get the next season

Could not have said it better myself. Such a butt!

Verowak

That dang Darth Sidious. What a butt.

Huh, I'll have to look into this Mark Hamill guy, he seems pretty cool :D I do want to read the Star Wars books afterward to get a more in depth story of how things came to be. It only took Yoda 900 years lol Though I would be very curious to see what Yoda was like in his first 100 years (his childhood/adolescence? lol) It really does give a new perspective on Yoda. Knowing something will happen and so many people will die, but in the end there is still hope. I had assumed Season 7 would have been in order, but for some reason the chronological order says to start with 705-708, then 701-704, then the last one. I had to triple check to make sure that was correct

I'm sad we didn't see more of Qui-Gon since he seems to be very unique. He would have made such a difference had he lived!!

Verowak

I love that this arc adds to Qui Gon’s character, despite him being dead before the start. In that he was the Jedi who was chosen by the force priestesses to learn this special ability. It further demonstrates the points made during The Phantom Menace of him acting according to what his instinct tells him is the will of the force. Much like Fives, he is someone who could have shifted the entire direction of the story had he lived

Darth bane is obviously kind of a big deal. There was a book trilogy about him (which is fantastic) that became legends after Disney bought Star Wars. That was where the rule of 2 started, and while they had talked about it in previous shows and movies, actually having the name and appearance show up in this episode was pretty awesome. He was also voiced by this Mark Hamill guy, so that was cool too. You mentioned that the dark side is all just manipulation, illusion, etc. and it's true, but that's also why they have a hard time when someone is willing to sacrifice themsleves and be selfless. They just assume everyone will be selfless when it comes to making a decision like that. Sidious literally told him that Yoda could stop all that he will do if he just lets Anakin die. Even knowing that, Yoda couldn't let that happen and he would rather die than let someone else (specifically Anakin) die. Yoda is becoming a true jedi in this arc...after 900 years. Yoda ends the season saying (to the audience since we were with him) that they're going to lose, there's nothing they can do about it now, but he knows there's a new hope, and another skywalker. Now you get to watch Episode 3 knowing that Yoda basically knew what was going to happen. Not necessarily the specifics, but he saw Anakin behead Dooku, Sidious told him Anakin was the key, and the jedi were going to lose. Imagine having that knowledge as Yoda (and you as the audience) and seeing the rest of these events unfold. Then you go to exile and live with all of that until Anakin's kid shows up to train. Definitely a new perspective on Yoda It looks like you have Season 7 in chronological order, so be excited, but also have patience. Each arc improves on the other in chronological order.

Plus... the team up we've all hoped to see. Jar Jar and Mace Windu 🤣

Verowak

Yes it’s the same leitmotif heard as part the end credits for the S5 finale episode.

Laxjedi

The Theme song at the end is the Ahsoka theme.

King_Panarisi

That was actually our 2nd ending to Clone Wars; but definitely still emotional and a slightly more hopeful ending than the S5 one.

Laxjedi

I loved this Arc. Yoda went on quite the journey. It was cool to see Sith Alchemy, kinda reminds me of the Nightsisters and some stuff from Legends. Of the Seasons you've seen so far, Season 4 and 6 are probably my favorites. We learned so much, Order 66, Palpatine getting more power, Anakin falling more to the Dark Side and getting more possessive and controlling and angry, learning about the cult that worships Mother Talzin, going more into the mystery from Attack of The Clones and Obi-Wan learning about Tyranus being Dooku and Syfo Dias. We're just inching so close to the end now. Looking forward to Season 7.

Oh boy.. I still get emotional with that ending even though it's not the ending anymore. For 7 years!! that was our Ending to Clone Wars! and we grew to accept that thinking that Season 7 would never be a thing. Still so happy they came back and gave us a proper send off. Excited to watch the Final Season with you you'll definitely notice a bit of a Skyrocket in Animation Budget and many other aspects watching through it lol
