Clone Wars Episode 612 (121) *FULL LENGTH REACTION

We got a small glimpse of a "what if..." episode!!

Tempting Yoda like that lol

So there is no way that Anakin has learned how to become a force ghost this way

For this style of reaction, you need your own copy to watch the episode.  Also know there is an extension that allows you to do Picture-in-Picture in case you are interested: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/picture-in-picture-extens/hkgfoiooedgoejojocmhlaklaeopbecg?hl=en

Next up... last episode of season 6!! 😨

Imagine being 900 years old and realizing just how wrong you've been your whole life. You have influenced SO many others and taught them the wrong thing. On the bright side, he's able to learn and not dismiss it completely. I feel like usually good = nature, and bad = mechanical. I would be curious to see a world where the opposite is shown

I love when star wars gets "out there" and mystical with some of their episodes. Especially the clone wars being...a war, it seems like it's a lot of grounded, real life topics and every now and then they hit you with these mystical force episodes. Classic Star Wars. I took where Yoda was as the "pure" nature, similar to "untouched" areas of the Earth where there haven't been human influences. Star Wars is always hammering the good = natural, bad = mechanical themes in everything, but having Yoda go from a city planet with no nature (again, ironic the Jedi are based there) to this place that is pure nature is also showing him how they've been so blocked off to the force both physically and spiritually. Obviously this episode (and arc) is about Yoda and his arrogance/hubris, which also extends to the jedi and the council as a whole. Like you said at the end, he's 900 years old and thinks he has mastered these things. This is where he comes to realize that the jedi way of "mastering your emotions means not having them" is stupid. Yoda spent all these years telling himself he had "conquered" fear, anger, etc. and finally admitted that they're always going to be a part of you, it's a matter of how you handle them. Too little too late.

I will want to rewatch the original trilogy now that I know more about everything that happened. Well, I just want to rewatch the prequels too lol I would have liked more info on Yoda, but this was great to see!! I love how Yoda and R2 went on an adventure together!!

I feel like it would be hard to give a TLDR on how to become a force Ghost. I sort of chalk it up to Anakin being the chosen one and strong with the force (like the Mortis Arc shows) lol

When I do have more time, I 100% want to dive into Star Wars games and game playthroughs!!! Odd that they changed the name, it doesn't make sense to do that

I like how the Prequels/Clone Wars give Yoda more of a character arc. It gives so much more meaning to the line in Episode V when Luke says he's looking for a "great warrior", and Yoda replies "war does not make one great". Before it just seemed like some general sage wisdom which he always possessed. But now we know that he's speaking from personal experience -- he realises he F'd up big time by allowing the Jedi to be dragged into a giant war, which ultimately led to their destruction. (It's also funny watching Episode V and seeing Yoda beat R2 with his stick. R2's probably thinking, "And after all I did for you!")

So I'm not sure if it's still canon but in Legends, Obi-Wan told Anakin moments before he died how to become a Force Ghost as he would have learned this from Qui Gon's Force Ghost and probably Yoda as he mentions at the end of Revenge of The Sith that he will teach Obi-Wan how to communicate with Qui Gon. It's interesting how here Qui Gon could only appear as a voice but years later learned how to retain his body in ghost form in the Kenobi series.

The planet Morriband’s real name is Korriban, but they changed it for some reason. I would just refer to it as Korriban because this is the only piece of Star Wars media to call it “Morriband”. Korriban’s first on screen appearance from what I know was in the RPG video game Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic (KOTOR) from 2003. It’s such an amazing game! if you ever do any more gaming content, please do a let’s play of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and the sequel Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 2: the Sith Lords (KOTOR 2).
