I previously asked for WW1 movie recommendations for a poll here (too late to add something now though lol)... so here we are!!
As usual, you can vote for multiple entries, though this time, the poll will only be active until (remember, remember) the 5th of November .
There will be an update posted later today too, along with a preview of November's movies!!

Now that you mention the name, I feel like that's one of the battles that my history class talked about (I don't remember it though, aside from the name).

2023-11-01 15:26:46 +0000 UTCThere is also a WW1 movie called “Passchendaele” (2008) that is Canadian made and specific to a battle that primarily involved Canadian troops. Unfortunately, in my opinion the film is of middling quality at best, and fairly melodramatic, so not worthy of the poll, which is why I used my one permitted nomination on something else. Also a bit surprised that no one recommended “Gallipoli” (1981); not enough Aussies on the Patreon I guess. 😉
