Clone Wars Episode 507 (095) *FULL LENGTH REACTION

Continuing from yesterday's post, I assume that the lightsaber designer isn't around anymore to teach Luke how to build it, so I suppose either R2 had the info, or Obi-Wan could guide him.

The highlights of this arc so far are the non-youngling events, like Ahsoka kicking the pirates off the ship!!  That was pretty awesome, but her getting captured just means that the younglings will rescue her next episode.

For this style of reaction, you need your own copy to watch the episode.  Also know there is an extension that allows you to do Picture-in-Picture in case you are interested: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/picture-in-picture-extens/hkgfoiooedgoejojocmhlaklaeopbecg?hl=en

This arc so far has been pretty meh, here's hoping it gets better!

I liked the arc, except for the younglings. It was great to see Hondo, Ahsoka, General Grievous, Obi-Wan (even though they had very little scenes). I liked the idea, just didn't enjoy the scenes with the younglings πŸ˜‚

I can definitely understand being thrown off by shifting the focus onto newly introduced young characters for a four-episode arc. The idea of it can be a bit of turn off. However, I think the characterization of these younglings was handled well. It easily could have been much worse in another series. Plus, at least in my opinion, it's always a treat to see Hondo

Ahsoka getting to lead more and more is great to see! I'm with you on the war part, give me more of it!!!

I had to triple check the order since 501 was skipped. I'll get to it soon!! :D

I still would not have been a big fan of younglings being the focus of the arc πŸ˜‚, but it wouldn't have been as bad if it was shown in the first few seasons. I know we're "coming to an end" soon-ish so I don't want wasted episodes lol

I'm also not huge on stories about little kids. I'm just not all that interested. But leave it to Dave Filoni to make some Jedi kids pretty watchable. But what really saves it for me is seeing Ahsoka increasingly in more leadership positions as the series has gone on. They're realizing they can rely on her, and that's great. Having said that, I'm ready for the show to get back to the war! That's the good stuff. Gimme that gooood stuff :)

Oh, season 5 started off very strong - you just didn't watch the season opener yet. Keep 'em coming, I'm with you until the very end, and quite likely beyond Clone Wars too.

Clone wars is amazing but I will say one detriment about it is that when binging it (and I think most can agree on at this point) it can have a bit of a jarring inconsistency with it's Tone and arcs at times and they definitely do feel misplaced especially in the Later Seasons when you would think it would always be Epic most of the time with some "calm before the storm" singular episodes. This one would've been perfect in the first 3 Seasons. bit of heads up this this won't be the only "lighthearted" arc from here till the End of show. I do like this Arc though but I think that's because I've seen the whole show many times so it's one of those situations where when you go back and rewatch you appreciate every episode rather than anticipating what's gonna happen on first time watch πŸ˜‚
