Clone Wars Episode 420 (087) *FULL LENGTH REACTION

OMG BOBA!!!

I love seeing characters that we will see in the future.  I was thinking of rewatching the original trilogy before Book of Boba Fett to refresh my memory of what happened... then I remembered that he's in the movies for like 10 minutes 🤣

It's always nice when baddies are reminded that others are in similar situations to them, and they relate and help out.  Even better that she cashed in twice 😁

I was not expecting Ventress to give the others their share, it seems she's a softie after all🥰

I'm really liking this arc so far, and need to know what happens to her in the end.

For this style of reaction, you need your own copy to watch the episode.  Also know there is an extension that allows you to do Picture-in-Picture in case you are interested: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/picture-in-picture-extens/hkgfoiooedgoejojocmhlaklaeopbecg?hl=en

Clone Wars Episode 420 (087) *FULL LENGTH REACTION

Comments

Please don't mention if it's the last that we'll see of a character, or if we'll see a character in future episodes. I avoid spoilers for what I watch, and knowing who is or isn't in the series/future episodes is also a spoiler.

So, this is the last time Boba appears in the Clone Wars show. Although technically he would have made 2 more appearances in Season 6 and 7, had Clone Wars never been cancelled when George Lucas sold the rights for Star Wars to Disney. It's technically still canon that both these appearances happened. The next appearance after this would have been an Arc focusing on Boba and Cad Bane. In it Cad Bane meets Boba and reveals that he knew Jango and they were like rivals. And he becomes like a mentor figure for Boba. And Boba eventually finds his Father's Armor and retrofits it to fit him, and I think he paints it green like how we see him in the original trilogy. Him and Cad travel to a few planets one of which being Tatooine. And sometime after we see them duel. It's kinda unknown what leads to this but I believe there's some hostages that Cad takes and Boba tries to save them. They have their classic western style shootout, Cad gets shot in the head and Boba gets shot in the helmet. And because it's not pure Beskar, it leaves a dent in his helmet like we see in the original trilogy. And I think sometime after this he gets his father's ship, Slave 1, back from Hondo on Florrum. There's some footage of this on YouTube, but most of it is in Pre Viz and a lot of it is with limited voice acting and some scenes are just visuals with no sound. His second appearance would be in the Dark Deciple Arc which takes place in between the first and second Arc of Season 7, it was written by Katie Lucas, George Lucas's daughter, and originally was an 8 episode Arc, but was later adapted and extended into a Novel and was written by Christie Golden. Katie also wrote a bunch of other great Clone Wars episodes, including this Arc for example. I believe that would have been Boba's final canon appearance in The Clone Wars. It was cool to see Dengar and Bossk, they made a brief appearance in Empire Strikes Back and we saw Bossk in Season 2 in the Boba Arc and in the Undercover Obi-Wan Arc when Bossk and Boba were in prison. In fact I think Bossk broke him out when Obi-Wan started the prison riot. I loved the themes of this episode and everything Ventress is going through and how she realizes that she is different now. Now she has a future.

That's what I love about all the different planets, the character designs can be so different! They did look really cool and it would be nice to see more of them. The main guy seemed like a really good fighter too

I love that this episode is heavy on both action and character development. It proves that you don't have to only focus on one of those aspects at a time. Also, I think the character design of the group of people they were fighting on the train is very unique, like sci-fi ninjas. I wish to see more of them in star wars.

It only makes sense, it takes at least several months, so he must not be there for the rest of Clone Wars 😏 I would be so sad if that was the case 🤣

Verowak

I do love character development and them learning that there is another way, in which they can choose to do what they want!

Ventress has always been in a cycle of Revenge and pure hatred most of her life, it must be liberating for her to break that cycle, her line "Now I have a future" hits so much as I think she's realizing that Vengeance was just a road to Destruction

Hayden

"I guess we won't see Obi-Wan this arc because his hair and beard need to grow back." 😂😂 Anyway, yes, Ventress does care - she was a Jedi after all.
