It's sad yet exciting that this is the first episode of the final arc of Season 4... and holy crap is this a great episode to start with!
This feels like it could be the epic conclusion of an arc, but it's just the beginning!!! At least we know that no Jedi/Clone were harmed in the making of this episode π
I still don't like the fact that Dooku tries to kill Ventress, then the story is that she betrayed him π It seems that Ventress could have easily taken on Grievous and killed him, if it weren't for those meddling droids!
I'm really curious to see what Ventress will do, now that she isn't serving Dooku, and the Night Sisters were all massacred (except for Mother Talzin it seems).

2023-09-09 19:58:18 +0000 UTCThe fact that Dooku was forced to get rid of Ventress because she was becoming a threat means that she is very powerful. Though she still has much to learn, since bad guys will cheat if they get the chance lol Seeing it in live action could be amazing!

I don't think it was a surprise to see that Ventress was superior in lightsaber combat, and also no surprise to see Grievous "cheat" when he was about to lose. Also, I think Dathomir is one of the coolest looking locations. Can you imagine how awesome it would be to see it live action one day?

I'm invested in what happens to Ventress now. I've wanted to know more about her since we first saw her and Obi-Wan talk like they've faced each other many times before

2023-09-07 16:29:57 +0000 UTCStarting this show, you definitely don't see any villains as sympathetic, but now here we are with Ventress. She's a tragic character. Given away by the nightsisters, taken in as a jedi, her master dies, she is a gladiator and is found by Dooku and taken as his apprentice (from the 2003 Clone Wars series that isn't technically canon), then betrayed by Dooku, she has multiple failed revenge attempts on him, and now she's brought back home to her sisters as a new family annnnd they're all dead. It's spread out through the first couple of seasons but when you put it all together it's a really tragic story.
