This arc was just SUPER FUN!!! It sort of gave me Futurama vibes, when Bender becomes a god to a new civilization in space that grow on him. The slightest thing he does affects them, and same with this episode!!
Never would have thought their rescue would happen like it did... good guy Grievous! ๐คฃ

It's really interesting watching older cartoons to see how things were. I'll have to give it a watch to see what it's like!

2023-08-12 00:52:29 +0000 UTCThese C3P0 and R2D2 episodes reminded me a little bit of the old 1985 Droids cartoon (which you can actually watch on Disney+). The primary difference is that their adventures in that show had them involved with several other antagonist & protagonist characters. It was very much a Saturday morning 80s kids cartoon; definitely a product of its time that doesnโt hold up well today, but worth a look just for historical context and a couple laughs.
