Andor Episode 10 *FULL LENGTH REACTION

It's M-Andor Monday (I'm really looking forward to saying Mondaylorian in the future)

That prison break was quite something.  In the end, it was very sad 😭  But this marks the beginning of the new arc next episode, which is the final arc of the season.  I'm torn on being happy that it will be epic, but that the series is almost done.

Mon is going to destroy her relationship with her daughter even more, isn't she.  It feels like she doesn't have many options, unless of course she just dips out and disappears instead of forcing her daughter to meet/marry this douchebag's son.

I liked seeing that Luthen has a contact within the ISB.  And it was also good to see just what he says he has sacrificed for what they're doing.  I completely get Lonnie thinking that Luthen didn't give anything up while everyone else has to live in constant danger.

Andy Serkis is just a gem of an actor.  I love all his roles!

For this style of reaction, you need your own copy to watch the episode.  Also know there is an extension that allows you to do Picture-in-Picture in case you are interested: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/picture-in-picture-extens/hkgfoiooedgoejojocmhlaklaeopbecg?hl=en

Finally 2 episodes coming up! 😍😢

Andor as a whole has been absolutely wonderful with the atmosphere and the feeling of the characters. All the actors are nailing their characters and doing a fantastic job, it's great to see. It also helps a lot that the dialogue is also some of the best in Star Wars lol I love shows like this that can expand on characters we've seen in other movies. I never would have assumed that we would learn about Mon Mothma, but here we are, and it's nothing I could have imagined. I keep waiting for her to get caught and have to run away or something lol

So far, this episode has been the most epic culmination episode. I'm obviously hoping that Episode 12 will be even better! Andy Serkis just brings his characters to life so damn well, and like you said, his expressions are perfect. They convey so much!! I like how we slowly learn more and more about Luthen. He is so dedicated to his cause. Only 2 episodes left, but I hope we get to learn more about him

I'm with you on that one. Kino Loy has been great, but I might be biased because it's Andy Serkis 🤣

Kino Loy became one of my favorite Star Wars Characters (Though I might just be biased towards Andy Serkis) I've watched this episode and Kino's speech so many times

This was a gripping episode to say the least. I watched an interview where Stellan Skarsgård discussed that question by Lonnie in what did he give up. He said the first take just didn't have the feeling he wanted so he asked the director to do another take. It took him 10 takes to deleiver that closing. I think that typifies the level of detail the creators put into this show. I really love how they are digging into Mon Mothma's character. In Rogue One and in Return of the Jedi she really isn't explored so its great to have her fully fleshed out in this series. When I was watching this for the first time I was going wait, Kino, he can't swim? Can somebody push him over, something? A very well done but very sad moment I think.

The last two episodes in the series are great, as is the whole series, but this is still my favorite episode. Obviously episodes 3, 6, and 10 are the "culmination" episodes for their respective arcs, but something about this one hits different. I don't want to say it's because of Andy Serkis, but it's partially because of Andy Serkis. His monologue and general acting in this episode are fantastic. Also Luthen's monologue is fantastic. I remember after I watched this episode the first time, I went back and watched both of the monologues again just because they were so good. They still give me chills. On the topic of Andy Serkis' acting, the range of emotions on his face in that short scene when they actually reach the water is fantastic. Relief, excitement, shock, horror, then eventually just a laugh at the total irony of the situation. He led a breakout of a prison and the literal last step to freedom is one he can't take because he can't swim. That smile and laugh at the end gets me every time. --Dark Luthen We've seen glimpses of the real Luthen so far, but I think this really gives you a picture of who he is. In my mind he's like a more calculated and careful Saw Guerrera. Both guys are willing to risk everything to take down the empire and aren't afraid to sacrifice others to do so, but Saw is reckless while Luthen is very careful and calculated.
