June Schedules and Update!

Hello there!

It's time for a June update and schedule release!  Please be warned that this month is pretty stacked.

For YouTube:

Starting the Mission: Impossible franchise (which I know basically nothing about), finishing the Kenobi series on YT, watching Looper finally, watching Armageddon; a movie that I've only heard the song from (Aerosmith's "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing") and finishing off with Everything Everywhere All at Once

I'm also going to be releasing the videos on Sunday/Wednesday instead of Saturday/Tuesday like I've been doing since I started.  The reason is that my YT analytics show that Sunday is the day when the most viewers are on YT, so I figured I'll try it out and see if that helps the channel or not.

I'm not sure if you are all interested, but May has been my worst month in terms of views for each movie/tv show released.  Which I'm mostly ok with, but I want to have a balance from now on, meaning a couple of popular movies, and a couple of less popular movies/indie films every month.  So my guess is that Mission: Impossible and Armageddon will be popular, while Looper and Everything Everywhere All At Once is an unknown.

At some point in June I'll be posting a Patreon Poll for July!  I was thinking of it being an Arnold movie? If you have other themed suggestions, let me know!

For Patreon:

The only change is that instead of a Sunday Clone Wars release, it will be Saturday!  I'll still be continuing Andor!  I am curious if there is a non-Star Wars TV show that you would like me to watch for Patreon.  The first one I'll be watching is Band of Brothers, that's all I know 😀

I'm doing slightly better with editing, if that is the case, I'll be trying to get a bonus movie edited, so one week I could release 2 movies!  I'm also looking into a part-time editor to see if it's feasible for the channel.

Question: Are you a morning person or a night owl, or something else?

I'm a morning person.  I have never been able to stay up late.  When I was a kid, we each had a bed time and I refused to go to sleep before my youngest brother.  But I would be so tired that I would fall asleep on the couch, and sometimes ask my mom if I could go to bed early.

Have a great end of the week everyone!

Woo! I'm glad you know nothing... You are a pro! "You're on your way Miles..." 🙂 a movie quote... The full quote is "...you're the best of us. You're on your way Miles, just keep on going." A heartfelt quote of encouragement from a character in a hero movie. "You're on your way Verowak... just, just keep on going" 😊

I learned this month that Mission Impossible was a hit television series. I do feel compelled to see what it's all about, so perhaps after I finish the movies I'll check it out. I have actually had no information about EEAOT. Just that people like it. I've purposely avoided any and all information or discussion or mention of that movie because I want to go in blind. I haven't even seen a trailer for it. The actual extent of my knowledge is that Michelle Yeoh is in it, and that she won an Oscar for best actress. The title intrigued me, and the poster confused me 😂 Though that movie will be done in July now

you'll have a much better experience if you are not expecting what others have told you to expect out of the movie. When art exists you don't want others' description of it that is filtered through their eyes and experiences. Art should be viewed through your own unique lens and then you can properly attach the things that fit for you from the experience and you will have your own understanding... and you will recognize it properly.

I'm not up-to-date on Mission Impossible movies but "they say" the movies get better. Of course the original premise is that it was a hit television show and it had a great theme song, then they bought the rights to it. Looper I'd like to see again. Everything Everywhere is... often mischaracterized, it is best to throw away everything that anybody has ever said about it. It's not something that you want to believe someone's description of - you can't trust what somebody else says, you must see it for yourself. I hope I'm not too late to unhammer the attached mischaracterizations that have been nailed to the film... lol, people like to be part of something and so they attach themselves to a vehicle so do not be distracted by the people clinging on it, but look at the film itself with your own eyes unclouded. 😮🙂

They're all movies I've heard great things about, and most of them are some that I just never got around to watching though I've wanted to. I've never felt the need to watch Mission Impossible, but I'm glad that I am!

nice! those are good movies 😁

I saw parts of firefly a long time ago. I honestly don't know the story, just that Nathan Fillion is in it and that it's ... similar ish to Star trek? I've been hesitating watching it but the more I try to think of what happens in the show, the more I realize I have no clue what happens. All this to say, that I think it's a great idea to watch it! Especially since it's pretty short! Thank you, it's written down, and will be part of the "next series to watch" poll once I get a few more

I don't like how arcs have different amounts of episodes! Ideally they would all be 3 episodes, so I can post every arc together lol

Verowak

may I suggest Firefly. There are only 11 episodes so a popular but short run, then the great movie Serenity (which ends up wrapping up the Firefly series) at some point

Always love the 3 days of Clone Wars. Great way to end the week
