UGH I'm so frustrated by this episode!! It was a good one, but it just points out one of the things I really hate about the damn Jedi.
It also frustrated me that Obi-Wan is just like "we do nothing unless we're told to do something".
It was strange not rooting for the Clones, since usually I'm pro clones. Overall though, that's what they were born to do.. follow orders and die π
Am I a bad person for thinking that it's a good thing that Anakin dismantled the Jedi council/way? Maybe not the method in which he did it, but you know... if it works π

One of the best things of this episode was Obi-Wan getting a big hug from the inhabitants of the moon!!

2023-05-01 22:40:23 +0000 UTCThat's exactly it! It's so frustrating seeing human history be played out, and the Jedi not doing anything. Damn Jedi!!! Oh I like there being different force "sects" and it makes perfect sense too. It would be nice if an animated show was made and showed the different "sects". I like Jedi as peace keepers and not the Republic's lapdogs. It frustrates me so much, which is a reason why I really like Anakin and Ahsoka.

Probably one of the reasons it's so frustrating to watch. I'm glad you feel this way about the jedi. We'll watch your career with great interest I really enjoy when they discuss the jedi and the force in different ways, not just in this show either. The high republic book/comic series right now has a bunch of stuff happening on Jedha (from Rogue One) where there's dozens of different force "sects" that all view the force different ways and how to deal with it which is fascinating to me. The series also deals with the jedi as peace keepers instead of being an army for the republic which is a major point in that timeline. Good soldiers follow orders

I've heard the name Jennifer Hale but never played a game where she voices a character.. one day I may! Yes the snow armour was really nice! First time seeing Clones in snow gear yeah. It's good that they have different armour for different situations, I hope to see more, though I somehow doubt it since they wear their normal armour in the heat too

Side note Chuchi is voiced by Jennifer Hale who is well known as the voice of Commander Shepard from the Mass Effect games. In the Star Wars fandom she's well known as the voice of Bastila Shan a Jedi from Knights of the Old Republic. I love the Clone Snow Armour, pretty sure this is the first time we've seen Clone's in snow gear. We've of course seen Snow Stormtroopers in Empire Strikes Back on Hoth while in The Force Unleashed I'm pretty sure there's First Order Snow Troopers on Starkiller Base.
