I was hoping that R2 would solo rescue himself, that would have been fantastic! I was also hoping that the duel of the droids would have been Grievous vs R2, where Grievous is trying to get R2's information but R2 manages to hold him off or something.
Also, bye bye R3! You will NOT be missed, and hopefully Ahsoka isn't as trusting to random new droids in the future. Anakin almost dying, everyone almost dying... oh boy.
To no one's surprise, Grievous has escaped again! π€£
I'm curious to see if Anakin will wipe R2's memory... I doubt it.
I hope we meet new, useful droids in the future though! Maybe somehow K2SO could make a surprise, miraculous appearance (I doubt it :( )

Wait... he doesn't meet Grievous until episode 3?! I never realized that, so I'll be looking at this very differently now. I love it!! I do think Anakin is a great mentor because the Jedi way is not great, imo. It was upsetting to see Obi-Wan just tell Anakin to replace R2 because he's just a droid. He's NOT just a droid π₯

2023-03-23 18:40:45 +0000 UTCAhsoka keeps learning, and this is another example of Obi-wan (as the jedi order) saying don't be attached to the droid, just follow the orders and don't worry about it, vs Anakin who is showing Ahsoka that sometimes trusting your gut and doing the right thing may not be what the jedi tell you to do. The perfect teacher for her. One of the best unspoken jokes of this show is that, if you remember, Anakin doesn't actually meet Grievous until Episode 3...so we have 7 seasons of this show for Anakin to not meet Grievous. It's funny to see how they get around those two meeting in this show, so something to keep an eye out for as the show goes on.
