Clone Wars Episode 101 (006) *FULL LENGTH REACTION

It's Jersday!

I've never watched Jersey Shore, but I remember that being a thing since it came out on Thursdays :D

YODA IN ACTION!!  I really liked his interactions with the clones, it was sweet!  I do love seeing Dooku lose, it's such a great feeling, though I expect him to win soon.

Though Yoda did good, I'm still angry with him for the end of the episode.  Such a nincompoop.  Damn you, you silly Jedi!  Oh one great thing about this being animated, there can be more Force usage since it's no extra cost for special effects!

I'm trying my best to not look at upcoming arcs/episode names so it's more of a surprise to me when I watch them.  I do love surprises!!

Again, please no spoilers :)  and a reminder that I'm following the Chronological order of the series:

It's almost the weekend, do you have anything planned?  So far, I have plans to read in the evenings.  I've gotten into a groove of reading Harry Potter so I'm looking forward to that!

I appreciate you all :)

The different/silly/weird greetings are great 😄

Humiliates for sure, as long as nothing bad happens from it lol!

Taking away the lightsabers and just giving them back is such a flex, I love it. Reminds me of old martial arts movies, where the old, wise master effortlessly humiliates everyone.

LazyRaccoon

Dammit Yoda, you should have been able to see the future and know to not save the clones!

I feel the rule of 2 is a bit strange. It seemed like at first only 2 force users or ex-Jedi could be on the dark side, and they would grow in strength, but now they could have a bunch of ex-Jedi in their ranks but they just wouldn't be called Siths. Just a bit weird to me. And actually, now that I think about it, if Darth Maul survived, doesn't that mean there are 3 Siths. I assume Clone Wars will explain this, so I'm looking forward to that part. Unless Darth Maul got demoted and is no longer a Sith, and just an assassin, or commander or something. So many questions, and I hope the TV series ties up a lot of the loose ends :D

I definitely wasn't expecting to be reminded of Warcraft at all from watching Star Wars... but here we are 😂 It seems like weird semantics for the sith. So even if 10 jedi switch sides, there would still be 2 siths, and the rest could be assassins.

Fun fact the lieutenant that Yoda saved is one of the clones that goes to hunt down Yoda in revenge of the sith after palpatine defeated him. He’s also one of the clones that finds Anakin still alive after Obi defeated him

The Clones in this episode are Lieutenant Thire, Jek, and Rys all members Coruscant Guard who stand out with their red markings. By the time of Order 66 Thire achieved the military rank of commander so when Yoda attempted to overthrow Darth Sidious he was hunted down by Thire's shock troopers. Afterward, Thire's squad escorted the Emperor to Mustafar where they rescued Darth Vader. You can see Red Shock Troopers in all of these scenes in their more iconic Phase 2 armour. I do like the addition of non Jedi force users such as the assassin Ventress who techinally isnt a Sith but a force user working on behalf of the Sith. Rule of Two an idea that's not really brought up in the movies but it was established by Sith Lord Darth Bane so that the Sith could operate in secret and eventually get revenge on the Jedi Order for their near extinction in the Jedi-Sith War (1032 BBY) over a thousand years before The Clone Wars. Two Sith Lords must exist at any given time one a master and one an apprentice who would train under the master and one day fulfill their role as Master. in theory a Sith could have an army of Dark Force Users but that could course problems within the ranks as any one of those force users may desire to become a Sith. Plus it's pretty difficult to hide an Army so yeah lol There's a great video going over the past history of the Sith and Jedi I'll send in Discord but it only goes over the stuff predating the game The Old Republic which is set 3800 years before The Clone Wars. But it's a great video to watch or even react to for the channel If you want a better understanding of Ancient Star Wars history.

There are only two sith, previously palpatine and maul, now palpatine and dooku, then palpatine and anakin. There are others like Ventress who are deemed "assassins" rather than an apprentice. Dooku refers to Ventress as his apprentice, but to Palpatine he refers to her as an assassin. Partially semantics, partially deception. The role of the sith apprentice is to covet their master's power and grow strong enough to overthrow them, so the master will always be paranoid of that. Durotar wasn't something I was expecting to hear in this video...a surprise to be sure, but a welcome one.
