Early March update post!!!

Hello there!

I have a few things to update everyone about, just so you know what to sort of expect in the near future!

First off, I've made a release schedule for Patreon/YT so you're not blindly waiting to see what I'll release and when.  The image below is my plan for March and it seems there's something being uploaded either to Patreon or YT every day!  Depending on YT being difficult, sometimes the YT videos may need to be pushed back a day, but if YT is being nice to me, then I can stay on track.

I'm thoroughly enjoying Star Wars and, even though the movies might almost be done, I'm pretty damn happy that there are a buttload of TV series to watch too!

Secondly, I would like to do a Patreon poll for the next movie I react to after Star Wars is done, so if you're up for it, please suggest a movie (in the comments) for me to watch, and I will put it in a nice Excel spreadsheet 😍 and do a nifty random number generator to pick 4 from that list, then I will do a vote on here to see which one is the winner!

Thirdly, I've scheduled a hangout in Discord for this Friday March 10th at 3:00pm EST/8pm UTC !  The plan is to hangout and play a game called Gartic Phone (it's in a web browser so everyone can play).  You don't have to play, and if you want to watch the mayhem and chat or just lurk, you can definitely do that too.  The basis of the game is that we all generate prompts and then someone else has to do a drawing of it (see the images).  Sometimes things make sense, other times they really don't which can be hilarious.  Again, if you are unsure about anything, don't be shy to ask me any questions :)

Fourthly, and lastly, I will be streaming on Twitch on Saturday March 11th at 2pm EST/7pmUTC for a friendly RimWorld challenge.  Feel free to lurk, say hi, chat and even laugh at my misfortunes.

As the schedule says, once I'm done The Last of Us, I'll be starting Obi-Wan Kenobi series, which is 6 episodes long, then I will tackle Andor (now that I know a little something about Andor, since before Rogue One I had never heard that word before in the Star Wars universe).

I'm slowly getting into a groove with everything that I have to do, though it'll probably change in a few months, so I'll have to readjust, especially when it's finally nice out and I can go walking/hiking/biking/kayaking again!

May the Force be with you all!!

Iève never heard of Quiz show, so it has been added :D

Verowak

Could we replace that with Quiz Show then? Unless you've already seen that one too. In which case I will quite while I'm ahead. :)

OrangeLion

4/5 is passing. I'll take it. lol

OrangeLion

I think the only one I've seen from that list is Catch Me if You Can!!

Verowak

Apparently I'm on a "based on a true story" kick, because... 42 Apollo 13 The Blind Side Catch Me If You Can Remember The Titans

OrangeLion

Quite possibly, I have no idea lol

Verowak

That would be great watching it blind

Jeff Ash Jones

That is the one I meant. TBH I only suggest it cause I feel like people would be interested to see a young person see it for the first time.

Doug Sarbon

So I have seen Alien, but how much I remember about it is very questionable lol So I'll go with The Thing(I have no idea what this is about, aside from Horror, so that could be fun!)

Verowak

I had to look it up, this is not the one with Alan Rickman. I've a lot of people suggest I watch that Robin Hood. So many Robin Hood movies, it's confusing! A comedy suggestion, this'll be an interesting list :D

Verowak

Robocop is first, so that is the one I'm writing down (plus Starship Troopers was already suggested :D) I think the only Sam Rami films I've seen are the Spider-Man ones, and I remember liking them. I have no idea how they hold up now though

Verowak

I'm assuming the 1939 one?

Verowak

For some reason I when I see Starship Troopers, I think of Spaceballs lol It has been noted!

Verowak

So happy to see so much star wars on the schedule I'm seeing some serious movies so I'll go with a Mel Brooks special, Robin Hood Men in Tights

Andrew Sitek

I would love to have you react to Alien by Ridley Scott (followed by Aliens) or The Thing by John Carpenter if you're into sci fi horror. Alien is probably my favourite movie of all time, hence my nickname

Jeff Ash Jones

Robocop, Total Recall, and Starship Troopers all directed by Paul Verhoeven are a great watch. A very underatted movie I personally adore is Darkman directed by Sam Rami. Other Rami movies would of course be the Evil Dead films and Spider-Man which I imagine you've seen.

Jedi Mandalore (Dylan)

I think you said you've never watched the Wizard of Oz. That's my pick. Glad to see you doing so well, btw. 🙂

Doug Sarbon

I wouldn't mind seeing a reaction to Starship Troopers
