Richard explains they have no idea what kind of process might trigger the suit to upgrade, but this chamber is used to test different elemental attacks.
Then there's a three-shot of the armor, one in heat, one in cold, one in something else (water?) As they watch it be attacked with electricity, Tabitha reminds them it was once frozen (in that rooftop pool), and could it have been damaged? Richard says they can't be certain, but it appears the suit can repair itself-- and if they damage it too much, then he'll give it to Annie for her to repair it herself. She smiles brightly at the idea.
