Thanks for a fun reaction! It's exciting to journey on with you. It was great to see Wirbel again, even if he did try to steal their front-liner. Even if they'd kept the crystal, you know Frieren would have swapped it for a stack of rare grimoires taller than she is. There's a reason they always seem to be broke. Relatable. During the episode 28 closing credit montage we see Ubel walking by herself. Although if you Google for "Ubel playing the long game" there's a very funny short comic. I'd hope we don't see Lawine in the northern lands, she's only a 3rd class mage! Denken wanted to visit his wife's grave in northlands, so maybe we'll see him again? And what IS Laufen to him? It's nice to see how well Fern takes care of gifts. That bodes well for Stark's heart.

We got a soft reminder of past adventures, some old faces showed up and heralded new adventures, some more magic lore with the crystals, another amazing flashback with the GOAT Himmel, and a Stark/Fern ship being teased to boot. Perfect start to the new season! 10/10
