Also, maybe try a different watch order, like chronological. It really makes you realise some things you haven't thought about before. It's one of those series you can periodically rewatch, infinitely, and always have a good time. Maybe even at some point you'll pick up a lot of Japanese and start appreciating the little puns and play on words that are impossible to translate into English. It's just a gift that keeps on giving.

I found color-coded subs that help keep straight who is speaking. Also, I love that it appears that by the third episode, you’re believing everything Kaiki is telling us, including what his hotel room looks like.
