The question about the order things came out, "it must have been jarring to meet episode" it most certainly was. Everything you have watched has came out in the order you watched them except for Kizu as they went back and fore with budget and other things, getting it delayed years because it was a movie. that is why the quality of animation is so much better in that (not talking of the change in art style).

I find it so fitting that Hanekawa has her epiphany of envy/the identity and behavior she's exhibited thus far while she's playing a game with cards among the Fire Sisters. Araragi called out their behavior regarding justice as merely playing a game. Karen even acknowledged how she started playing her role in the Fire Sisters around the time she started experiencing severe self-esteem issues associated with her height/image in elementary school. In other words, using the Fire Sisters as a coping mechanism. Hanekawa comes to a similar realization regarding herself. Her life has been a game-like, coping mechanism built on artificial/unsustainable foundations. Appropriately, upon realizing this, the house of cards she's building falls apart. The writing is so good..definitely a chef's kiss detail
