Be Mine, Valentine!

Of course I had to make a Valentine's Day drawing! Isn't it fun to see festive art around holidays?

Next, can we as the internet get past weird mini skirt discourse? 😭 I keep seeing people complain about the softy tummy that shows through in a tight skirt when in reality it's a wonderful feature. I drew this in response to that, highlighting the beauty of a plump lady in a miniskirt.

You also get to see the high res version of my winter avatar and banner. Pretty cute, huh? Although I don't live in a snowy area, I love the look of women in velvet dresses with fluffy trim as the snow falls around them. I can pretend, right?

Lastly, I wanted to share a sneak peak with you! Remember how I talked about making casual comics and posting them page by page here? I started roughing one out - it would be about 6 pages long. The theme is changes in body type after getting married. You can see where this is going, right? The sketch shows the before and after of the groom, Rikkie, and a WIP of the after for Julia. Honestly, she needs to be wider still. I'm inspired by exaggerated pear shapes from American cartoon moms, so who knows? Maybe I'll give her a very exaggerated silhouette.
