If someone pointed at bloodlusted and hollow Thorfinn in S1 and said “that guys gonna become a kind and happy individual and one of the most beloved animanga MC’s of all time” and then pointed at the gentle and shy Canute and said “that guys gonna become a dream deluded brother killer” I would’ve thought it was a joke. If I had to say Yukimura was a master of just one thing, it would be character writing.
