*Edit for 12/22 3:05 EST* Update on Frieren: Beyond Journey's End Release!
Added 2023-12-20 19:25:57 +0000 UTCHi guys! The planned release for Frieren has been for December 22nd, this Friday. Typically, when starting a series, we release 3 episodes as it meets our guidelines for our appropriate Tiers. That being said we recently learned that the first 4 episodes were aired together as a 2-hour special. SO we will be releasing the 2-hour special (First 4 episodes) as our First episode of the series, with the 5th, and 6th episodes being released to their respective tiers. We still plan on having this done and out by Friday, but as this adds about an hour and a half more of recording time plus editing it will be a bit of a crunch to get there. Super Excited for this new series!
*EDITED PORTION- Hi all!! We are about 50% done with recording and editing everything needed for Frieren to premiere. We are going to continue to work today and tonight to get everything out as soon as its ready. As the added content is longer than we initially expected it is taking us longer than we initially had planned for. If it is not posted by 12am EST, it will be posted tomorrow morning. Hopefully we can finish it up tonight and are working non stop to get it finished. Please bare with us, happy holidays!

2023-12-20 21:29:31 +0000 UTCI agree. Only thing is I don't like MAL. It isn't a good website to base anime quality and worthiness on. I honestly do not like that site at all. Anime should be organized and its nice to be able to make a checklist for anime you have watched and want to see but rating anime on that website it has been proven that it isn't reliable for making ratings. The people running the website I have heard also are pretty scummy. They suck. Frieren is definitely worthy of replacing made in abyss though. Both are top tier anime for different reasons.

I feel pretty confident it will keep its #1 spot on MAL for longer than most that usurp FMAB, and it'll be in the top 10 for quite some time. It's a beautiful story, definitely worthy of taking the place of Made in Abyss.

Just like with Oshi no Ko, it would be a crime if you didn't check them out :D There's also a gorgeous animated special video that came out with the OP. Highly recommend to watch it (after the first 4 episodes), even if you decide to do so on your own.
