I love how Petelgeuse's possession of Subaru epitomizes his role as a twisted parallel of Subaru, with his idealization of Satella like Subaru's of Emilia. Subaru is essentially fighting his own toxic, obsessive side by fighting Petelgeuse lol

The first one (Memory Snow) isn't as important plot-wise or anything but I think it's very much worth it to watch that one as well, especially because the 2 OVAs do connect
