That's because the OP for eps 1-22 is for the alpha wordline whereas the OP for eps 23 (and 24) is for the beta worldline. That's also why the OP was so "late" in episode 1: it only appears after Okarin sent the first D-mail, i.e. after the shift from the beta to the alpha worldline.

2023-07-21 01:36:56 +0000 UTCguys, i don't know your further plans for steins;gate, but i highly recommend watching episode 24, then OVA: Episode 23(β), and then steins;gate 0. if you want to watch steins;gate 0 (which is great, especially for you), i do not recommend watching episode 25 because it's not canon
