I see it as « he made that choice for his personal interests and goal » (like Reiner did) but I wouldn’t say for « revenge ». He forgave Reiner for what happened to the walls and said to Falco « on Paradise or in Marley we are the same ». When Reiner asks him if he came to make them suffer like he promised he said « forget about that ». To me he is more focused on « how to be free » than « how to punish ». He is obsessed with the idea of freedom more than anything else

Just because the author is preaching a message, doesn’t mean I have to agree.

Way to miss the entire point of the story. Lol.

But in that same conversation we also heard Eren tell Reiner to “forget about that” in regards to the words he told Reiner in season 2 about making him “suffer the worst death possible”. So that doesn’t really seem like he’s seeking revenge to me.
I always viewed this as a strategic attack on Marley’s strong points before they have a chance to use them against us, which is also backed up by Zeke in this episode, rather than Eren deciding “im killing all your people cause you killed mine..” or something revengeful like that. I’ve never picked up that vibe.

Anna Mayne you're just a little desensitized by death with all the shows you are watching maybe. just my two cents.

The Female Titan's name is misleading. All the other Titans have names that describe their abilities, but the Female is just called the Female. The titan itself possesses the ability to mimic abilities of the other titans, to a lesser extend. Hence the Armored Titans hardening, the Beast Titans ability to call pure titans. Whats not mentioned in the show is that this ability actually comes from consuming parts of the other titans, and as such the Marleyan military experimented heavily on Annie.

I hope they piece it out in the next episode. I believe that was when they hear from Yelena about the plan.

I really think they should start reading comments using some mod because they don't miss much, but when they do, we can help them. Like the point of historia being royal blood but isn't a titan

Eren himself admits in 4x5 that ultimately despite everything else, he has a choice about what he's doing; that's why he tells Reiner they're both the same, because both made the conscious choice to follow through with their respective atrocities

Guys, you keep missing the fact that Eren can only use the Founder's power by coming in contact with a TITAN of royal blood, that's why Zeke points it out "we now have the Founder and a TITAN of royal blood. Eren CAN'T use the Founders power with Historia because she isn't a titan. This is crucial information to fully understand the story going forward.

thanks for the sarcastic comment Benjamin.
Look I like Sasha as a person, she is friendly and loyal, I never debate that. My issue is that she is constantly portrayed as this comedic character which doesnt allow her room to grow into much else of a character. She makes annoying mistakes during missions which feel forced to make "light of situations". I even forgot about the tower mistake she made, another example to back my point. Connie makes the same mistake but at least he has something to bring to the story in the storyline of his village and his feelings of betrayal and his sadness after Sashas death. His comedy is also done well unlike Sashas which makes Connie a good character compared to her. I would argue that she is meaningless to the story between seasons 1-3, ask yourself, if she was never there would we wonder why there wouldnt be a character like her or would we even think about that.
I will admit like most people agree that she becomes a better character after her death due to the actions of other characters like Gabi, Niccolo, her dad and Kaya. Sashas death does provide an additional meaning to the story (children of the forest) which is amazing but like I said between 1-3 she doesnt bring much if at all to the show

To add onto that, she saved Samuel on the wall in season 1 and Armin on the wall in season 2. She's often quiet in scenes, but this fact is overlooked by many given how loud she likes to be when she DOES speak. I've always appreciated the subtlety of her actions and friendships in the backgrounds of certain scenes. Never centre stage, but always adding humanity to the supporting cast - she's a caring friend and someone many people looked up to. Yes, she makes mistakes sometimes like a human (her flubs in combat are never really presented comedically either, aside from her missing the kill strike in the tower); this doesn't mean she's a "trash" character. Just cuz you don't always move the plot forward doesn't at all mean you're meaningless to a story. Not everything can be judged through such a utilitarian lens. Hope this response didn't make me sound too "butthurt".

Yeah of course. I don't take it that seriously, just had some confusion and ended up taking a different meaning to what you said than what you meant.
Oh sure, I getcha. I'm not always a fan of certain antics and they can be overdone.

thanks for not getting butthurt like so many other fans and for being respectful.
Yes my point on her stuffing up during missions actually meant making mistakes that were annoying. She dropped the flare gun in season 1, she lost the horse in season 2 and she thunder speared herself accidentally. You are right that none of her mistakes ruined the mission however constant silly mistakes like those just put me off a character because it feels like forced comedy (flare gun and horse) obviously the thunder spear was a serious moment but man it was annoying that she made another mistake. If hange wasnt alive then who knows how that fight with Reiner would have ended.

Your opinion of the character can be whatever, but she did not always mess up during missions. I don't know what you're thinking about aside from in Season 1 scouting mission when she wasn't able to shoot a red flare, but it was irrelevant because her team did and the titan chasing them didn't kill anyone.
Season 2. She did her task to warn villages as was told, found and saved the girl, took the report about Annie back to Hange, and participated in the mission to recover Eren.
Season 3A. She saved Armin from being shot when Eren was being taken by Kenny's crew, was the lookout for Levi's squad when they were on the run, saved Connie from being shot during the raid on the Reiss chapel, and activated the explosive wind up device that was used against Rod's titan to make it topple over.
Season 3B. She fought against Bertholtd and Reiner. Her task of blowing up the other side of Reiner's jaw was not successful at no fault of her own, she did everything right and just happened to be the one targeted by Reiner and the collateral of the building. It could have prevented them from defeating Reiner, but ultimately did not and no one was killed because of it.
Nothing she's done that I can recall has caused any plans to fail or any of her team to die.

unpopular opinion but Sasha was a trash character. Did extremely little to affect the story, always messed up during the missions (apart from this one) and was the forced comedic character with her food and potato jokes. Not happy shes dead but dont care either

Sasha’s death hit me HARD… to this day, I still hate Gabi for it. I was cheering for them to throw her out of the air-blimp!

Falco might not be totally right about it being revenge. Remember Willy's words and the crowds cheering those words just beffore Eren transformed.
