Relatable.

That post credit scene didn’t do it for me, but after Episode 20 of season 4 I had to read the manga. I HAD to know what happened next. I couldn’t even wait a week 😂

Cubjitsu

well technically that statement could refer to anything right?

Ryonko

Floch is a damn king

Forrial

These guys are very good at understanding all perspectives, I’m sure they will find him extreme like we all do but will understand his actions which is more then can be said for most people

Sean Carroll

xD I really wonder what they'll think of him after all is said and done (manga reader here)

BlueLacie

Thank everyone who tells them to skip stuff, lol.

Corey Hughes

just like with conny family portrait

Kilian Robert

KING FLOCH IS RISING

Sean Carroll

Please don't spoil anything for them.

Nick22

You know, even though the people in the walls didn't have photographs, they did have paintings.... Thus, picture frames.

Tempered Glasses

i wish they could have watched the entire credit scene of episode 49, the glitching and random screaming and shots of armin's body as well as dina fritz is one of the eeriest moments in this show imo

pink

RIP Marlow.... Also, you guys are too smart, and seeing the aftercredit scene would have definitely taken the impact out of the the roof scene, and made it pretty clear that Armin wasn't actually dead. Right choice 100% If you saw the seasons as they came out, I think it wouldn't be as big of a deal, since the time gap in between would make the details harder to remember.

Tempered Glasses

Lol, that scene was only there as a carrot for real time viewers. Welp, sorry about how long S2 came out, we're going on hiatus again, heretakethis thank you come again.

DT

God I just can't wait until you're both caught up through season 4 part 2. I love your discussions.

Epsilox

These two and filmbuff have the best discussions istg🔥🔥🔥

Child of the forest

These two are scary-good at predicting things.

BlueLacie

Could ya please edit this out? Thanks. They probably/hopefully don't read even these comments but we shouldn't be spoiling them. EDIT: It’s much better now, thanks!

Weeros

Oh please don't. Total momentum killer now.

Weeros

Bets on how fast they 180 on back pack titan once they meet the person inside 😂

Night Sterling

Did Anna just predict the first episode of season 4!?!?

DJ Hunter

You know that frames predate photographs by a huge margin, right? Such an odd conversation.

The whole tea holding thing, apparently it’s because one day Levi saved up money to have a cup of tea, but he held it normally and the handle broke. So now he holds it this way so that doesn’t happen again

Justice Hastings

I was one of the people that felt like it was ok for you to have watched that after credits scene. Then as I watched things play out as you were watching episodes leading up to that moment I knew I was wrong. You would have very likely figured it out.

trouty42

Congratulations, you have just finished the prologue

Justice Hastings

I missed the after credit scene on my first Watch through and I’m pissed that I missed it. Seeing that would have had my mind blown

GB3

Girl is very good at analyzing things(scary good sometimes) and understanding characters feelings, good reactions.

Великая Система

It takes place in the middle of the credits rolling, so it's a mid-credit scene, not an after-credit scene.

Mecha Saiyan

That extra scene actually made me avoid reading the manga even more. The show gets you involved in the intrigue by only giving you bits of a truth. A sequence like that blew the lid off for me. There was no way I would risk reading the manga before I’d seen the rest of the show by that point. Season four really cements my intention to go buy the manga after the show finishes. I personally love the after credit sequences and would never avoid them, but I respect you doing so if you’ve been advised. I do think they took great care to animate the sequence in such a way as to not overtly lead you to right motivations for the character. As someone who just saw it as it went, I felt it was well done and increased the intrigue for me. I do feel though that once someone says “this is a spoiler, avoid” then it affects how you go into it and then avoiding is more appropriate. I honestly think most of the concerned parties are manga readers who already knew plot points when it aired. For me, it had me even more twisted thinking Eren had reason to switch sides, or go off mission… never did I get close to the real reason for the fight.

Brendan Falvy

Please watch the rest of the OVAs before starting season 4.
