From Delhi to Mumbai

Two Tests down, two to go, and on the break between them Adam has made a dash back home to see his baby girls, while Geoff has gone to see Bharat's childhood home and meet his mother Usha in Mumbai. On racism far from home, with Andrew Wu

Season 13, Ep 24: On his last trip to India covering cricket in 2017, Australian reporter Andrew Wu was surprised to be targeted by anti-Chinese abuse. On returning in 2023 he wrote about the experience. Now he sits down with Bharat and Geoff in downtown Delhi to share some reflections. Also this week, Adam and Geoff round up the Women's T20 World Cup, the Delhi Test, England's win in New Zealand, the Sheffield Shield, the WNCL, and the belated match report from the Final Word XI triumph at Birchgrove Oval.

Bharat's book launch

... took place in Delhi on Wednesday, with Geoff hosting him and co-author Gaurav Joshi. Given its about India's miracle tour of Australia ending at the Gabba in 2021, and given that Ravi Shastri is such a central character in the text, there are rumours that he may attend the Mumbai launch on Saturday evening, 7pm at the main Crossword bookshop near Kemps Corner flyover. Who knows? In any case, we'll be there, and everyone is welcome.
